clocktower legacy
Blood on the Clocktower: Legacy is an evolving campaign where every decision, death, and deception leaves a permanent mark.
In this version of the game, characters that die are gone for good — their powers lost forever. New roles from distant scripts take their place, shifting the dynamics each session. Victorious teams earn the right to shape the future, choosing from powerful rewards that twist the game even further.
Each night in Ravenswood Bluff tells a new chapter… but the scars of the past never fade. Will you shape the town’s legacy — or be forgotten in it?
This page will document the story as it unfolds…
CURRENT SCRIPT
episode 1: the first drop
Ravenswood Bluff was once a peaceful village, but something has changed.
Whispers ride the wind like ash. Dreams are no longer private. And in the town square, the old clocktower ticks just a little too loudly — its gears greased with secrets. This is where the story begins…
An ancient pact has been broken. Somewhere in the town, a Demon walks among the villagers — unseen, unholy, and hungry. But this time, death is not the end.
Each death leaves a void. Every soul in Ravenswood Bluff is unique — their powers irreplaceable, their stories unrepeatable. When one is lost, they are gone forever. But the town does not remain empty for long. New arrivals appear in their place — some allies, some threats — bearing unfamiliar faces, strange abilities, and uncertain allegiances.
And the victors? They will write history. After each bloodshed, the winning side will choose one of three mysterious rewards, shaping the fate of the village in ways both subtle and profound.
This is no ordinary tale. This is a living legend.
Your choices will echo.
Your deaths will matter.
Your story begins now.
Let the Trouble Brewing begin…

night two
The Monk was poisoned by The Poisoner

day two
As the town commenced for their second Town Hall, the Washerwoman claimed The Spy had lied to them about being the Undertaker and what they saw. The Spy responded by saying they did not trust The Washerwoman and hence lied on purpose. They then publicly claimed they were The Undertaker and had seen that the executed Soldier was The Fortune Teller. Due to this wrong information, The Washerwoman nominated The Spy. The Spy received only 3 votes out of the 5 required.
The Chef revealed that they had seen there is an evil pair in town. With this information, the Town suspected that the Spy’s neighbour was evil. The Butler nominated The Imp and received 7 votes, enough to put them on the block.
In response the Imp nominated the Washerwoman as the Empath revealed that one of their neighbours was evil. This only received 2 votes, not enough to take the Imp off the block.
No more nominations were received and The Imp was executed - GOOD WINS
THE IMP IS ELIMINATED
The Imp is replaced with The Vortox
The mists around Ravenswood Bluff began to clear as the final cries of the Imp echoed from the gallows.
The villagers stood still — silent, breathless — waiting for the sky to split or the ground to tremble. But instead, there was peace. Uneasy, temporary peace.
The clocktower ticked on.
Yet the battle had left scars. The Empath, eyes still glazed from their final vision. The Soldier, slain for telling a truth no one believed. And yet… they stirred. As the Imp’s blood soaked into the soil, a shimmer passed through the air, and two souls — the wrongly condemned and the seer of truths — gasped and opened their eyes.
Somehow, death had relented. Not for the Demon… but for the innocent.
It would not happen again.
And far beneath the village, unseen and undisturbed, something took note. A whisper echoed in the dark:
“One falls. Others rise. But this game is far from over.”
episode 2: ashes that speak
The Imp is no more. But the village is not saved.
In the deep, starless dark beyond the veil of life and death, something ancient has stirred — not with rage, but with cold, twisting logic. It does not hide in the shadows like its predecessor. It replaces them. It warps them. It wears truth like a mask, and lies like a crown.
And now, the Vortox has arrived.
The air is heavy. The stars do not shine the same. Dreams lie. Clues deceive. Every whisper, every hunch, every ability feels… wrong.
And the rules have changed.
To survive, the town must act. Every day. Indecision is death. Hesitation is doom. Because if no one hangs, the village falls.
The Empath and Soldier walk again, but even they feel it — the world is no longer what it was. With each death, new terrors will come. With each life, the truth becomes harder to grasp.
The legacy deepens.
The storm is here.
The Vortox plays now.

This failed, resulting in The Empath nominating the Vortox for execution, which received 4 votes - enough to put them on the chopping block.
The Vortox then nominated The Drunk librarian in an attempt to convince the town that they instead were evil. This only received 2 votes, which was not enough to overturn.
No more nominations were received and The Vortox was executed - GOOD WINS
THE VORTOX IS ELIMINATED

The village had stood before deception itself… and still chosen correctly.
The Vortox's grip on Ravenswood Bluff had been cold and suffocating — choking truth, strangling logic. Every whisper turned backward, every vision warped. But still, through fog and falsehood, the villagers acted. And in the end, they hanged the truthless beast.
As the Vortox died, the world seemed to right itself — ever so slightly. The stars shone again. The lies faded like fog in sunlight. The clocktower exhaled.
But victory came at a cost.
The Monk, faithful protector, fell. The Fortune Teller, doomed by visions twisted beyond meaning, silenced. Even the Washerwoman — so often the bearer of beginnings — was lost.
Yet from the ashes came something unexpected.
In choosing A Blessed Curse, the townsfolk unknowingly struck a second bargain. Somewhere in the ether, one of their own — an outsider — now wanders in a haze, their mind clouded, their curse transformed into something strangely protective. The Demon will find them... familiar, but frustrating.
And beneath the village, something else awakens.
The Vortox is dead — but the Fang Gu is watching.
episode 3: the outsiders edge
The days grow shorter. The wind carries whispers not just of murder… but of inheritance.
The new threat is unlike the last — not a liar who twists reality, but a predator who hunts the weak. The Fang Gu has arrived, drawn to the vulnerable, obsessed with corruption. It stalks the outsiders of Ravenswood Bluff, hungry to make them its own. One death, one mistake — and they may become the monster.
But the town is not defenseless.
The Dreamer, new to the village, sees what others miss — glimpses of what people are… or what they might be. The Innkeeper welcomes all but guards few, offering sanctuary at a cost. And the Grandmother watches quietly, her heart tied to one she must protect, lest grief consume her.
And then there's the Klutz. Naïve. Nervous. Dangerous. One misstep, and their end could become everyone’s.
The Demon is different now. The rules have shifted again.
One outsider’s curse is a shield. Another’s misfortune may spell doom.
And the Fang Gu?
It waits.
It watches.
It hungers.
Night falls again on Ravenswood Bluff.

The people of Ravenswood Bluff had grown confident. Perhaps too confident.
One by one, the figures of darkness were unmasked — the whispering trickster, the hidden liar, the slow poisoner. Hope began to return to the village. But beneath the surface, something unnatural stirred.
On the third night, a tremor shook the foundations of Ravenswood Bluff. It wasn’t the ground — it was reality. The Fang Gu, having turned its fangs on a drunk soul, collapsed... but its curse transferred. The demon did not die. It changed hands.
From that moment on, every trusted ally became suspect. Votes faltered. Heroes fell. The Mayor died in silence. The Virgin never saw it coming. And in the final moments, as the Librarian was dragged to the gallows and the last cries of dissent faded into the wind, one terrible truth remained:
Evil had won.
As dusk fell, thunder cracked — not in the sky, but from the heart of the village. The Second Seal was broken.
Now there are two.
The Fang Gu still walks among them... and from the east, another arrives. A being of violence and venom. The Po.
Their toxin seeps into the timeline itself. Their victims breathe their final breath a day too late.
And as the blood runs colder and the dead pile higher, new faces arrive — strangers and wanderers with strange powers, cryptic motives, and the weight of fate on their shoulders.
The legacy has turned. And this time, it may not turn back.
episode 4: twice bitten
It begins with the birds. Silent at dawn. Then the milk turns sour in the pails. And by sundown, a child whispers in their sleep:
“There are two now.”
No one speaks the words aloud. But they all feel it.
The Fang Gu still hunts, twisting the hearts of the weak, making the forgotten into monsters. But it is not alone. A new presence clings to the village — a presence of rot. The Po has come. It walks in smiling silence, leaving death behind like a smoldering ember, unnoticed until too late.
The village reshapes itself in fear.
A quiet woman watches the graves and counts the evil buried there. A sailor with a cursed charm staggers home each night, untouched by blades but leaving wreckage in their wake. A grandmother clutches a portrait to her chest, praying her grandchild lives one day longer.
And others have come, too strange to trust:
A man who cannot die — until he can.
A fool who grins at every axe.
A hermit who carries every curse.
A preacher who gathers followers not in faith, but in finality — and if all should kneel? The end comes not in fire, but in song.
And somewhere, a lone figure sleeps beneath the chapel, dreaming they are the monster — unaware that the real beasts are awake.
Ravenswood Bluff has endured Demons before. But never two.
And never like this.
The night is longer now.
The clocktower ticks slower.
The end may be nearer than they know.

Ravenswood Bluff had never been a place of peace — but something about this game felt different.
The whispers of cults began early. One hand extended in false unity, then another, both seeking power through devotion rather than blood. Yet the townsfolk hesitated. The Ravenkeeper, watchful and silent, kept their faith to themselves. The true Cult Leader was unmasked and brought to judgment. It seemed hope had returned.
But darkness is never so easily scattered.
A grandmother's heart broke in the night. An assassin’s blade found its mark. The oracle, searching for truth among corpses, found only sorrow. And then, without warning, the Scarlet Woman — mask of beauty, mouth of poison — was dragged into the square and executed. A chill passed through the town. The end was near.
That night, the Fang Gu — the ancient corrupter, the parasite in the flesh of humanity — struck again.
But in their arrogance, they overreached. They underestimated the will of the dying. The dead had begun to speak, and the living had started to listen.
As the sun rose on the final day, the tide turned.
The cult lay broken. The imposters exposed. And at last, the Demon — bold, proud, and desperate — was named and condemned.
And as their body was taken away, the winds shifted.
The village had not only survived.
It had been seen.
Far above, beyond clouds and time, something ancient watched the final act unfold. And for a brief, fragile moment… it reached down.
episode 5: touched by grace
It started with a whisper on the wind — not words, but presence. A warmth in the stillness. A stillness in the fear.
An angel has come to Ravenswood Bluff.
It does not speak. It does not choose sides. But it watches. It guards. Two souls now carry its mark — silent, invisible, but sacred. And should any harm befall them… retribution will come, swift and strange.
Yet while grace descends from above, terror rises from below.
A new hunger stalks the streets. The Shabaloth, a beast not of shadow but of endless appetite, now feeds by night. Two victims at a time. And sometimes, the swallowed return — changed, shaken, but breathing. A mercy? Or a message?
The town braces itself. But nothing is as it was.
A gravedigger-turned-savior whispers that life might return to the dead. A quiet sage waits to die — and name their killer. A stranger claims to know evil by scent alone, yet walks in silence as others die. A grieving soul consumes the identities of the slain. And somewhere among them all, a Godfather waits, watching the outsiders and their fates with wicked intent.
Even unity falters. The Poppy grows, and with it, confusion — the enemies of the town walk among them, unseen and unrecognized.
This is no longer a battle between good and evil.
It is a reckoning.
And somewhere, unseen, the angel watches.
